One-cap Arsenal flop now has £42million release clause in his contract
Former Arsenal flop Ismael Bennacer has a £42million release clause in his current contract at AC Milan with European giants PSG and Manchester City weighing up their interest in the midfielder. The 22-year-old spent two seasons with the Gunners but made only one senior appearance in the League Cup. A 3-0 defeat to then-Championship side Sheffield Wednesday was enough to convince manager Arsene Wenger to never start the teenager again. Bennacer was subsequently limited to youth-team fixtures before being flogged to Serie B side Emploi where he began to rebuild his career.
