Mikel Arteta aims subtle dig at Bernd Leno as Arsenal boss makes Aaron Ramsdale No 1
Mikel Arteta has told Arsenal outcast Bernd Leno to get behind his team-mates 'like everybody else does' when he is left out of the side. Leno has fallen out of favour at the Emirates this season, with new £25million goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale replacing him as Arteta's No.1 shot-stopper. The German star was given a chance to impress in Tuesday's Carabao Cup clash with Leeds, which he certainly did by recording a clean sheet in a hard-fought 2-0 victory. And following his strong display in between the sticks, Arteta has reminded Leno that he needs to support Ramsdale and his other team-mates when not playing.
