Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic attempts 'Panenka' penalty - and it goes badly wrong
Arsenal transfer target Dusan Vlahovic was left with egg on his face after attempting a ‘Panenka’ penalty during the 6-0 demolition of Genoa on Monday. The prolific Fiorentina forward stepped up to take a spot-kick early on after a VAR check awarded a foul on attacking-midfielder Riccardo Saponara. Vlahovic, 21, appeared confident stepping up, having netted five from the spot already this season for the Viola. The Serb took a short run-up before chipping his shot towards the centre of the goal, but the cheeky attempt curled slightly to the side and was denied by Salvatore Sirigu’s strong one-handed palm.
