Mesut Ozil refuses to throw support behind Arsenal in TikTok with fan
Mesut Ozil has shunned Arsenal by refusing to say the club’s name in a viral clip shared on TikTok. The playmaker’s arrival on deadline day back in 2013 sparked emotional scenes among the Emirates faithful as the Gunners landed one of Real Madrid’s biggest stars. He went on to make 254 appearances for the north Londoners, scoring 44 goals and notching 72 assists in the process. But his freezing out of the squad by manager Mikel Arteta at the end of his tenure left a bitter taste in the German’s mouth.
