Man City Move To Trump Arsenal For Real Madrid Striker Karim Benzema
It has been reported that Manchester City have moved to trump Arsenal for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. The French international striker is a major target for the Gunners, which are willing to go to 60 million for the Real forward. However, Corriere dello Sport says City are prepared to OUTBID Arsenal for Benzema with an offer of 70 million. City boss Manuel Pellegrini has declared they could yet make several 'special' signings in the coming weeks. Benzema is demanding first-choice status from Real coach Rafa Benitez to stay.
