Juventus hope to beat Arsenal with big-money bid for long-term target Julian Draxler
Juventus are preparing one final offer for long-term Arsenal target Julian Draxler, believed to be in the region of £19million. In one of the summer's longest running transfer sagas, it is now up to Schalke 04 to consider Juve's non-negotiable offer and whether they can keep hold of the World Cup-winning schemer. Draxler, 21, is admired by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger but it is unlikely the north London side will return again with a last-ditch bid for his services. It now looks certain, according to the La Gazzetta dello Sport, that Juve is the only club Draxler could move to - with the Italian giants prepared to offer the player a five-year contract worth around 2.5m-per-season.
