New Premier League signing reveals Arsenal were interested
Newcastle have recently completed the signing of Florian Thauvin, but the winger claims there was once interest from Arsene Wenger and Arsenal, as reported by Eurosport. The Frenchman was one of the most promising young talents in Ligue 1 a few seasons ago, and is still a hugely talented individual. He made the £13m move to St James' Park, but insists things could have been very different if Arsenal's interest turned into something more.
