Aston Villa rejected in shock move for former Arsenal star
Aston Villa have seen their offer for former Arsenal star Gervinho rejected by Roma as they continue their bids to reinforce the squad, according to reports from the Daily Star. The 28-year-old is the second player from the club being eyed by manager Tim Sherwood as he is also in talks to lure Adem Ljajic out of Italy. Their move for Ljajic is said to still be ongoing with claims that the two teams are close to agreeing the terms of his potential move to the Premier League.
