Arsene Wenger optimistic about Arsenal signing before transfer window slams shut
Arsene Wenger is optimistic about his side's chances of bringing in another signing before the transfer window closes at 6pm on Tuesday evening according to the Independent. Arsenal have recovered well following their opening weekend home defeat to West Ham but are still lacking a cutting edge up front. The Gunners have picked up wins away at Crystal Palace and Newcastle United and a goalless draw with Liverpool and are some way off Man City's pace at present.
