West Ham On The Verge Of Signing Former Arsenal Striker Adebayor
It has been reported that West Ham United are closing on a deal for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor. The London Evening Standard says the 31-year-old is likely to agree personal terms but the deal will not be completed before the match at Liverpool. The former Arsenal striker, who has yet to feature for Spurs this season, was expected to undergo a medical in the next 24 hours and sign on Sunday. The Togo international is in the final year of his contract at White Hart Lane and Spurs are expected to pay a portion of his £100,000-per-week wages over the season-long loan deal.
