Arsenal transfers: Does this one stat sum up AWFUL window for Arsene Wenger?
Arsenal have ended the summer as the only side in Europe's top five leagues to have not signed a single outfield player in the transfer window. The Gunners brought Petr Cech to the club early on, but failed to follow that up with another addition to their senior squad. At times throughout the summer they have been linked to Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema, PSG's Edinson Cavani, and Sevilla's Grzegorz Krychowiak among others, but none of the moves have materialised.
