Former Arsenal Fullback Ashley Cole Left Off Roma Team List
It has been reported that Ashley Cole's future at AS Roma is in doubt. The English defender was omitted from the Italian club's Champions League squad for the group stage of the UEFA competition on Wednesday. To make matters worse, former Arsenal and Chelsea left-back Cole was also left off the Giallorossi's team list on their official website. Cole reportedly turned down a deadline day move to Newcastle United, as he did not want to play for an English club other than Chelsea, but it seems that decision may have backfired with his future at Roma now under an enormous cloud.
