Arsenal and England star ruled out for months after surgery
Arsenal star Danny Welbeck is set to face a sustained spell away from action, as he undergoes knee surgery, reports The Independent. The Gunners have revealed the £16m star is set to miss ‘a period of months’ after facing surgery on his left knee ‘from the injury sustained at the end of April.’ The England international’s absence leaves only Olivier Giroud as an out-and-out centre forward, with Theo Walcott set to be deployed in the role.
