Ainsley Maitland-Niles Scores Wonder Goal For England U19 Against Germany
It has been reported that Arsenal winger Ainsley Maitland-Niles helped England U19 defeat Germany 3-2 at the Belkaw Arena in Bergisch Gladbach. Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke and Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo also scored for England. Maitland-Niles, currently on loan at Ipswich Town, hit a wonder strike from 25 yards into the top corner of the net which proved the winner. Everton's 18-year-old right back Jonjoe Kenny, on-loan with Wigan Athletic, handled in the box in the 47th minute, preventing a certain goal and was subsequently given a straight red card.
