Michael Owen Backing Wenger Decision In Not Signing New Striker

It has been reported that former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has written on Colossusbets.com that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was right not to spend “silly money for a striker”. Czech Republic international goalkeeper Petr Cech was the only major signing for Arsenal in the summer transfer window. Gunners manager Wenger was criticised by fans and pundits alike for not bringing in a new striker. Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Joel Campbell are the three recognised strikers on the books of Arsenal at the moment.
