My Strikers Can Score 20 Goals – Arsene Wenger
It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is very confident his attacking trio Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez can score 20 goals each this season, despite the Gunners not signing an outfield player in the summer transfer window. Over the past five years, statistics show that an average of just eight players in Europe’s top five leagues scored 20 or more goals per season. However, Wenger believes it is achievable, but he needs to treat his forwards with ‘trust and patience’. “I will have to spread [the goals] through the squad,” Wenger told Arsenal’s official website. “I think Giroud, Walcott and Alexis can get around 20 goals without any problem....
