Arsenal 2 Stoke 0: Walcott and Giroud on target as competition for striker spot heats up
GETTY ON THE SCORESHEET: Theo Walcott opened the scoring while Olivier Giroud added a second Arsene Wenger gave Walcott the nod and the England international latched onto a tremendous ball from Mesut Ozil and slotted past Potters keeper Jack Butland. Giroud, who was booed by France fans in midweek, replaced his rival towards the end of the game and headed home just before the final whistle to give Wenger food for thought and seal the points.
