Arsene Wenger admits Arsenal had mental block when playing Chelsea until last month

GETTY PERSPECTIVE: Wenger pointed out it is still early in the season But Wenger is keeping a sense of perspective ahead of the key clash at Stamford Bridge. He explained: "It is a big game but let’s not forget it is the start of the season. "What matters on the day is the performance. “We know our position at the end of the season will depend on how we do in the big games.” Chelsea have only won one league game so far this season, but come into the match on the back of a convincing 4-0 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday. Arsenal beat Stoke 2-0 last weekend but fell to an embarrassing 2-1 defeat away to Champions League minnows Dinamo Zagreb in mid-week.
