Francis Coquelin out injured but Per Mertesacker returns for Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed Francis Coquelin will miss his side's meeting with rivals Tottenham Hotspur but Per Mertesacker will be available. Coquelin, 24, sustained a knee injury that forced him off at half-time of Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Chelsea on Saturday. The defensive midfielder will now be absent for Wednesday's trip to White Hart Lane when the Gunners and Tottenham meet in the Capital One Cup third round.
