Arsenal’s Gabriel Paulista wins appeal against red card at Chelsea

Gabriel Paulista’s red card against Chelsea has been overturned after the Football Association upheld Arsenal’s claim of wrongful dismissal. He is expected to face Tottenham in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night. Gabriel is facing a separate FA charge of improper conduct relating to his conduct after he was dismissed at Chelsea. If found guilty he could receive a suspension, though the punishment would more likely be a fine.
