Arsene Wenger Explains Why He Did Not Move For Anthony Martial
It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has explained why he chose not to move for Manchester United sensation Anthony Martial. Wenger says he was aware of the former Monaco striker when he was coming through at Lyon. 'We knew him when he was a child, but he is more a winger than a striker. I agree that he is an exceptional talent, but for his position we already have players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sánchez and Joel Campbell, who can play anywhere up front,' said Wenger. Martial has scored three goals in his first two Premier League games for United.
