Arsenal To Battle Liverpool For Sporting Lisbon Star William Carvalho
It has been reported that Arsenal and Liverpool are being linked with Sporting CP midfielder William Carvalho. The Daily Express says Italian sources claim the Premier League duo are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old defensive midfielder, who was a star of the European U21 Championships this summer. Carvalho is currently sidelined after suffering a stress fracture in July but is expected back before the transfer window re-opens. The Sporting Lisbon star would cost around £25m.
