Wenger predicting Christmas return for Wilshere

Arsene Wenger says Jack Wilshere's latest operation has been a success and the midfielder will look to make a return in time for the busy Christmas schedule. Despite partaking in pre-season friendlies, the England international hasn't featured this season after a training ground collision in August saw him suffer a hairline fracture to his left fibula. Arsenal's medical team had initially hoped the midfielder's problem would heal without surgery only for the 23-year-old to suffer a setback when he was on the cusp of a return. He's missed a fair bit of football has our Jack leading Mikel Arteta to promise earlier this month that he'd do his best to keep his teammate in good spirits....
