Injury blow as Arsenal star is ruled out of Manchester United clash
Laurent Koscielny was withdrawn from the game against Olympiacos with a hamstring injury, and was replaced by Per Mertesacker, as reported by the Daily Mail. A return date is yet to be announced, but the Frenchman will almost certainly miss our clash with Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend – certainly a huge blow. Gabriel Paulista appears to be in Arsene Wenger's plans this season, with he and Koscielny a potential long term partnership. It's a partnership that is going to have to wait however, as this weekend we are more likely to see Gabriel and Mertesacker lining up. While certainly a problem, this isn't the end of the world.
