Liverpool ‘open talks with Arsenal target, deal could be done this week'
Reds preparing to launch their move for top Arsenal target. Liverpool are preparing to open talks over the appointment of former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp as their new manager to replace Brendan Rodgers. The German tactician is now the big favourite to take the post at Anfield, though he has also been linked with the job at Arsenal and other top clubs in recent months after leaving his previous employers. Klopp has long been regarded as one of the finest coaches in the game, having won two Bundesliga titles with Dortmund and also guiding them to the 2013 Champions League final.
