Barcelona youngster keen on £8.5m Arsenal switch
Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper is apparently open to a move to Arsenal according to the Metro. The 20-year-old is yet to feature in La Liga action but played in both Copa del Rey and Champions League fixtures last season. However Samper hasn't managed a single minute of first-team action this term and is ready to bid farewell to the Nou Camp in order to better serve his career progression and Arsene Wenger is known to be a fan and of course has previously raided Barcelona for top talents. Samper is said to have an £8.5m release clause written into his contract and that's a fee Wenger may well be ready to pay for the Spanish Under 21 international. READ MORE: Arsenal transfer news....
