Arsenal and Chelsea both fined by FA over conduct at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea and Arsenal have been fined £40,000 and £30,000 respectively and warned as to their future conduct after both clubs admitted a breach of Football Association rule E20 during the Barclays Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on 19 September, the FA has announced. The fines have been handed out after the clubs were charged “for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion” during Chelsea’s 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge in September. The incidents occurred between the 44th minute to the 47th when players clashed after Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista was shown a red card by referee Mike Dean following an incident with Diego Costa.
