Olivier Giroud struck twice as France won in Denmark. Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud hopes his double in France's win over Denmark can kickstart his season. Giroud, 29, struck twice in the first six minutes as France triumphed 2-1 in Copenhagen on Sunday. France coach Didier Deschamps said last week that the former Montpellier forward had lost confidence after being relegated to the bench at Arsenal. But Giroud shone in the absence of injured Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema, netting his 11th and 12th goals in 43 France appearances.
