Arsenal star snubs La Liga giants in favour of new three year Emirates deal

Nacho Monreal has apparently agreed a new three year deal to keep him at the Emirates long term, putting an end to any talk of an exit for the Spaniard, as reported by the Daily Mail. The former Malaga man has long been linked with a move back to La Liga, with Athletic Bilbao particularly keen on him due to his Basque roots (via the Metro). Bilbao are currently fourth in the Spanish top flight, so a return home could certainly be an attractive prospect, but Monreal has instead chosen to commit his future to Arsenal.
