Arsenal to battle with Man United and Barcelona for highly-rated Bundesliga star
Arsenal are said to be preparing for a transfer race with the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona and AC Milan for the signature of Bayer Leverkusen’s Hakan Calhanoglu, according to the Metro. The Gunners are keen to bring the Turkish international to The Emirates Stadium in the new year, but face competition from some of Europe's top clubs for his signature. The 21-year-old star has been dubbed as ‘the new Mesut Ozil’ and is renowned for his deadly set-piece prowess. Furthermore, he has been in phenomenal form for the Turkish national team as well, playing a key role in helping them to qualify for Euro 2016.
