Aston Villa plan ambitious move for Real Madrid forward in January

Aston Villa are set to become the latest club to display an interest in Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez and will throw their hat into the ring to prize him away from the Santiago Bernabeu in the new year, according to the Metro. The Metro claim that the Villans made a play to sign the 22-year-old over the summer. The move failed but they are being tipped to go back in for him again when the January transfer market opens. Jese has struggled for regular first team game time so far this season, and a report in Spanish publication AS believes that Villa will be expected to make an enquiry into his services again.
