Arsenal confirmed team vs Watford: Gabriel mysteriously absent, but Alexis starts
The teamsheet for Arsenal's trip to Watford has been released, and for the most part it's as you'd expect. There are a couple of notable absentees though, which have certainly got the fans asking questions. Petr Cech starts in goal, with Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal on either flank. Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny resume their partnership in central defence, but what is most worrying is Gabriel Paulista's total omission from the squad.
