It took us far longer than it should have done, but we finally broke the deadlock just past the hour mark. And who else could it have possibly been other than that man Alexis Sanchez? The Chilean started the move down the left, playing it infield and continuing his run. There was some great linkup play between Mesut Özil and Santi Cazorla, with a neat one-two seeing the German through on goal. He was taken down in the box before he could get a shot away, and it probably should have been a penalty.
