Arsenal open talks to sign set-piece demon dubbed the ‘New Mesut Ozil'
Arsenal have begun talks to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu according to the Metro. The Turkish international is a hugely talented performer who is also said to be interesting Man United manager Louis van Gaal and Arsene Wenger appears keen to beat the Dutchman to the punch. The 21-year-old enjoyed a superb campaign in Germany last term, scoring 12 goals in all competitions and providing eight assists to boot, and has already netted five times this season. Calhanoglu has been dubbed the ‘New Mesut Ozil' and there are certainly similarities in terms of their playing styles and Arsene Wenger's interest in the 21-year-old is not a huge surprise.
