Lazio To Rival Arsenal For Ajax Defender Joel Veltman
It has been reported that Lazio are watching Ajax defender Joel Veltman. Lalaziosiamonoi.it says Lazio are tracking Veltman as cover for Stefan de Vrij. Lazio chief Igli Tare has been tracking Veltman this season and is convinced his style of game is suited to Serie A. The Dutchman's minders have tested the water across Europe about the prospect of moving Veltman – and received most encouragement from Lazio. A fee of 12 million has been mentioned, with Veltman tied to Ajax until 2019. Arsenal and Tottenham are also monitoring the youngster's situation closely.
