Stats prove Özil is most creative player in Premier League history
Mesut Özil has been in scintillating form recently, and has been assisting his Arsenal teammates left, right, and centre. His creativity has been so good in fact, that the stats show he now boasts the best games per assist rate in Premier League history. The German playmaker got his seventh assist of the season against Everton earlier, lofting a superb ball into the box for Olivier Giroud to put a deft header past Tim Howard. That assist not only means he's the top assister in the league this season, but also that he's the most creative in Premier League history.
