Arsenal find their Wenger successor in the shape of club legend

Arsenal have identified legendary midfielder Patrick Vieira as the man to replace Arsene Wenger at the club, according to the Daily Star. The former Gunners man is currently in charge of Manchester City’s youth team, and has been linked with the vacant New York City job. However, top brass at the Gunners are rumoured to have identified him as the perfect man to replace Wenger, who managed the midfielder between 1996 and 2005 while in North London. Wenger himself is set to be offered a new deal in 2019, but the transition is said to have already been planned well ahead of time.
