‘Unimpressive' youngster sent back to Arsenal early as injury crisis piles up
Teenage midfielder Dan Crowley has returned to Arsenal two months early from his loan spell with League One side Barnsley, according to the Daily Express. The 18-year-old is highly-rated by Arsenal's youth academy, and moved to Oakwell in July on a short term loan deal in order to gain some valuable first team experience (via Express). However, after making just 10 appearances for the Yorkshire side, he has been shipped back to Arsenal before his loan spell was due to officially end.
