Arsenal and Chelsea target rejected offers from ‘big clubs’ to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, claims agent

The agent of Arsenal and Chelsea target Blaise Matuidi claims his client had plenty of offers from big clubs in the summer. The 28-year-old established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe last season as he helped Paris Saint-Germain to the Ligue 1 title. Both Arsenal and Chelsea were linked with the France international as a result, as were clubs in Germany. And now Matuidi's agent, Mino Raiola, has revealed that several big sides came calling in the summer transfer window. "Blaise Matuidi stayed at PSG because his heart is Parisian," Raiola told RMC. "Europe's top ten wanted him. Today they do still, there would be no problem in terms of selling him!"
