Arsene Wenger to voice announcements at the London Tube stations on Poppy Day

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is all set to voice announcements at the London Tube stations in a bid to celebrate Poppy Day, the Mirror reported. Poppy Day or Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November in most countries to recall the end of hostilities of World War I on that date in the year 1918. Hostilities formally ended 'at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month', in accordance with the armistice signed by representatives of Germany and the Entente between 5:12 and 5:20 that morning. The event is set up in aid of the Royal British Legion's annual appeal and sees the Arsenal gaffer make the announcements at Arsenal, Holloway Road and Finsbury Park tube...
