Arsenal transfer report: Gunners preparing move to re-sign £8m midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup
Arsenal are plotting a move for former academy prodigy Oguzhan Ozyakup, claim reports in Turkey. The Gunners sold the midfielder to Besiktas in 2012 for around £350,000 but his performances for the Turkish giants over the last year-and-a-half have caught the eye of his former employers. According to AMK, Arsenal sent scouts to watch Ozyakup score the winner in Besiktas' 1-0 win over Bursaspor on Sunday. Despite having plenty of midfield options, Arsenal remain on the lookout for a deep-lying midfielder with Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini expected to leave at the end of the season.
