Arsenal eye double Bundesliga transfer raid in January for Karim Bellarabi and Benedikt Howedes

Arsenal are said to be preparing to embark on a double raid for Bayer Leverkusens' Karim Bellarabi and Schalke skipper Benedikt Howedes in the January transfer window, according to the Metro. The Gunners are in desperate need of fresh reinforcements in the new year if they are to have any hope of sustaining a serious title challenge, which German publication Bild (via Sport Witness) claim could lead to two huge offers for the Bundesliga pair.
