Premier League clubs ranked by the average stay of their players – shortest to longest
The days of one-club men in the Premier League are seemingly over. No longer do we see the likes of Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Gary Neville, Ledley King and Tony Hibbert leading their beloved teams. Nowadays it more likely to see players hop from club to club as they try to reach the top, or leave clubs too early and, sometimes rapidly, drop down the football pyramid. So, with help from the CIES Football Observatory, we’ve taken a look at which Premier League sides hold on to their stars for the longest.
