Arsenal star Jack Wilshere closes in on December injury return
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is said to be well on course to making a comeback from injury over the Christmas period, according to the Metro. The injury plagued midfielder has yet to make an appearance for the Gunners this term, having sustained a hairline fracture in his leg during pre-season (via Metro). The Metro reports that injuries have blighted the 23-year-old's career recently, as various problems have reduced him to making a total of just 63 appearances over the past four seasons. However, he could be in line for a slight reprieve as a report in the Daily Mirror claims that he is prepared to make a return for Arsenal's festive fixture pile up.
