Arsene Wenger: FIFA will increase World Cup to include 40 nations

FIFA presidential candidate Gianni Infantino may look to a 40-team World Cup, if elected FIFA president. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes FIFA will expand the World Cup from 32 to 40 teams in the future. The European Championship was expanded by UEFA ahead of next summer's finals with 24 nations set to participate in France rather than 16. And Wenger says FIFA is likely to follow suit with its own tournament once a new president is elected on Feb. 26 to succeed the outgoing Sepp Blatter.
