Exclusive - Ray Parlour: Arsenal MUST spend in January to strengthen injury-hit squad

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has called for the club to address their injury crisis in the January transfer window, after two more players were added to the club’s ever growing crocked list. Francis Coquelin and Mikel Arteta both hobbled out of Saturday’s shock Premier League defeat to West Brom, adding to the injury headache currently presented to manager Arsene Wenger. A total of seven first-team players are now out for the Gunners, with Coquelin - expected to be out for at least two months with knee ligament damage - and Arteta joining Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky (both knee), Jack Wilshere (calf) Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott (both muscular) on the sidelines.
