Wenger Confirm Francis Coquelin Out For THREE Months

Bad news for all Arsenal fans as midfielder Francis Coquelin has been ruled out for up to three months due to a knee ligament injury he suffered in the 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. Manager Arsene Wenger revealed the news following the 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb. He also confirmed that the player will not require surgery. 'It is what we feared,' he said. 'Let's be realistic – it will be 10 or 12 weeks. 'He doesn't need surgery but it will be a minimum of 12 weeks.' Arsenal have been linked with a number of replacement defensive midfielders in the January transfer window since it became apparent that Coquelin would be forced to spend time on the sidelines.
