Arsene Wenger to assess Calum Chambers as Arsenal DM before dipping into transfer market
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been using Calum Chambers as a defensive midfielder in training as he hopes to get a good idea of whether he is capable of plugging the gap left by the injured Francis Coquelin before deciding whether to delve into the transfer market, according to the Metro. The 20-year-old has proved that he is a talented player, though he has been in and out of the side since joining from Southampton in the summer of 2014 and has been unable to nail down a regular spot in the starting XI.
