Arsene Wenger confirms Arsenal came close to landing Bayern Munich starlet Kingsley Coman
Arsene Wenger has revealed he tried to lure Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman to Arsenal. The 19-year-old has been a hit for the German champions this season after joining on loan from Juventus in the summer. However, Wenger has now revealed that he tried to sign the Frenchman back in 2014 when he was at Paris Saint-Germain. Coman, though, turned down the Gunners and joined Juventus on a free transfer after his contract expired with PSG. "Yes we really tried to sign Kingsley Coman in the summer of 2014," Wenger old beIN Sports. "The transfer was almost completed, but he preferred Juventus."
