Chelsea FC transfer news: Emmanuel Adebayor mooted as Diego Costa replacement
According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur reject Emmanuel Adebayor is planning to return to London in order to find a new club, with Chelsea heavily linked to his signature. The Togo forward ended his contract at White Hart Lane following the end of the summer transfer window, and has been without a club ever since. The striker his not actively sought new employers, and according to the Daily Mail, has been in African since ending his stay in North London. The tabloid reports that London pair Watford and Chelsea are both understood to be considering a move for the West African, who previously featured for both Manchester City and Arsenal.
